Penstock for the Besai Kemu PLTM Development Project
Indonesia has abundant natural resources, one of which is river flow which can be used as a power plant.
According to research from Lampung Province, especially Way Kanan Regency has the Way Besai River which, when viewed from the quantity and continuity of discharge and topography, would be very suitable if it was developed as a PLTM (Mini Hydro Power Plant) facility.
PT Danusari Mitra Sejahtera contributed to this development plan, namely producing a penstock for water distribution.
Penstock is a pipe that serves to drain water from the forebay to the turbine by utilizing the height. The rapid pipe used is made of steel with a diameter of ±2.4 meters and a thickness of 10 mm.
