Delivery: Chimney RU VI PT Pertamina Balongan
Bypass stack is a chimney from a burning place where materials are disposed of in the form of cylindrical or tube-shaped coal ash (fly ash). Serves as a heat vent of exhaust gases or smoke from boilers, stoves, furnaces or fireplaces to the outside of the atmosphere. Another meaning of the word is a chimney or pipe to channel smoke to the outside.
The production of the chimney began in September 2021 at the PT Danusari Mitra Sejahtera workshop. The chimney consists of 3 segments (A, B, & C). One segment consists of 2 segments with an average length of 20,725 mm and a weight of approximately 31,438 kg. The chimney produced is steel with reinforced concrete walls.
The total length of the Chimney is about 63,000 mm, the delivery of the chimney is carried out per segment. The shipment was sent to Pertamina RU VI Balongan, this chimney was indeed produced to be used as a replacement for a chimney that was damaged by a severe fire in March 2021.
Delivery of chimneys should be carried out as much as possible when road conditions are quiet so as not to disturb or hinder traffic. Chimney shipments use multi-axle vehicles, considering the dimensions of the product are quite large and heavy.
