Pertamina VI Balongan Refinery Chimney Production Project, Indramayu, West Java
The bypass stack (steel stack) has been produced and several components of the steel stack are in the process of sandblasting and painting at the PT Danusari Mitra Sejahtera workshop. For each segment of the steel stack that has finished the sandblasting and painting process, the casting process will continue on the inside wall of the chimney in the casting area.
The transfer of the first segment from the steel stack was carried out on Sunday (6/2/2022) when factory conditions were minimal. 2 units of large vehicles, cranes & semi-trailers were deployed to move the chimney weighing about 15 tons which will be used for the VI PT PERTAMINA refinery to the foundry area.
(7/2/2022) The chimney is lifted using a crane vehicle and then placed on top of the mold in a vertical position. Casting will be done by pouring cement into the empty space between the mold and the inner chimney that has anchors (small irons such as thorns on the inside of the chimney wall).
