On (2/10/2023), PT Danusari Mitra Sejahtera completed the Steel Structure Driving Range Golf project located in Dago, Bandung. This steel structure project was handled by PT Danusari Mitra Sejahtera, covering procurement, fabrication, and erection installation at the site.

The driving range is a facility designed for golf practice, allowing players to practice their shots at various distances.

The structure of a driving range typically consists of several key elements designed to provide comfort, safety, and efficiency for users.

Here is a more detailed explanation of the driving range structure:

1. Hitting Area

The hitting area is the main place where players hit golf balls. This area typically has a surface made of synthetic grass or special golf mats. In some facilities, the hitting area may also have movable flooring to adjust the hitting height.

2. Bay

The bay is part of the driving range divided into sections for each player. Each bay is typically equipped with:

  • Golf Mats: Where players stand to hit the ball.
  • Ball Storage: A container or automatic machine for storing golf balls.
  • Tee: A small device used to support the golf ball on the mat surface.

3. Roof and Covering Structure

Driving ranges typically have roofs to protect players from bad weather such as rain or sunlight. This roof structure can be made from materials such as metal or lightweight composite materials. Additionally, some driving ranges have side walls for added protection.

4. Netting (Safety Nets)

Safety nets are installed around the driving range to prevent balls from leaving the practice area and protect the surrounding environment. These nets are typically made of strong and durable materials such as nylon or polyester.

5. Lighting

Driving ranges that operate at night are equipped with adequate lighting systems. These lights are strategically placed to ensure that the hitting area and the field are clearly visible.

6. Additional Facilities

Some driving ranges provide additional facilities for the comfort and needs of users, such as:

  • Rest and Sitting Area: A place for players to rest between practice sessions.
  • Toilets and Changing Rooms: Facilities for personal comfort.
  • Café or Restaurant: A place for players to eat and drink.
  • Golf Equipment Store: Providing various golf equipment and accessories.
